The battle between Baylor and Grambling State didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Grambling State was handed an 87-52 defeat on Friday at Ferrell Center.
Baylor got 20 points from Quincy Acy and another 17 points from Anthony Jones. Stargell Love contributed 6 assists, while Quincy Acy cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Grambling State got 18 points from Brandon Wilson in a losing cause and another 12 points from YonDarius Johnson. Rupert Rose contributed 4 assists for them, while Brandon Wilson had 7 rebounds.
Baylor led at halftime, 41-25.
Baylor won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 52-34.
