The battle between Michigan and USC Upstate didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as USC Upstate was handed a 66-35 defeat on Saturday at Crisler Arena.
Michigan got 19 points from Tim Hardway Jr. and another 17 points from Darius Morris. Darius Morris contributed 4 assists, while Zack Novak cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
USC Upstate got 7 points from Chalmers Rogers in a losing cause and another 6 points from Carter Cook. Josh Chavis contributed 2 assists for them, while Chalmers Rogers had 9 rebounds.
Michigan hit the break leading 36-18 before taking care of business in the second half.
The rebound battle favored Michigan as they grabbed 45 boards, while USC Upstate only had 32.
