The battle between UC Davis and Uc Santa Cruz didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Uc Santa Cruz was handed a 70-49 defeat on Wednesday at UC Davis Pavilion.

UC Davis got 16 points from Joe Harden and another 13 points from Mark Payne. Ryan Sypkens contributed 5 assists, while Joe Harden cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.

Uc Santa Cruz got 12 points from Ryan Malsuoka in a losing cause and another 11 points from Tyler Hunt. Ryan Malsuoka contributed 3 assists for them, while Brent Jacobs had 5 rebounds.

UC Davis led at halftime, 32-11.

UC Davis won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-26.
