The battle between Liberty and Southern Virginia didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Southern Virginia was handed an 82-49 defeat on Thursday at Vines Center.
Evan Gordon had 14 points for Liberty and David Minaya chipped in with 13 points. Jesse Sanders had 7 assists for them, while John Brown was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
