The battle between Missouri and North Florida didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as North Florida was handed a 96-58 defeat on Saturday at Mizzou Arena.
Missouri got 18 points from Marcus Denmon and another 16 points from Ricardo Ratliffe. Phil Pressey contributed 8 assists, while Laurence Bowers cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
North Florida got 17 points from Parker Smith in a losing cause and another 14 points from Matt Sauey. Brad Haugabrook contributed 3 assists for them, while Jimmy Williams Jr. had 5 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Missouri were victorious, as the score was 41-33 at the break.
The rebound battle favored Missouri as they grabbed 44 boards, while North Florida only had 32.
