The battle between Kent State and Urbana didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Urbana was handed a 94-71 defeat on Tuesday at Memorial Athletic Center.
Kent State got 20 points from Justin Greene and another 15 points from Carlton Guyton. Rodriquez Sherman contributed 5 assists, while Justin Manns cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Urbana got a 21-point performance from Robert Wilson, who was supported by 9 points from Charlton Conner. Anthony Gage had 4 assists in a losing cause for Urbana, while Robert Wilson grabbed 6 rebounds.
Kent State trailed at halftime, 39-36.
The rebound battle favored Kent State as they grabbed 43 boards, while Urbana only had 30.
