The battle between Charlotte and Radford didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Radford was handed a 73-52 defeat on Saturday at Dale F. Halton Arena.
Chris Braswell had 18 points for Charlotte and Phil Jones chipped in with 16 points. Jamar Briscoe had 7 assists for them, while Phil Jones was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.
Radford got a 16-point performance from Jareal Smith, who was supported by 11 points from Johnathan Edwards. Jareal Smith had 5 assists in a losing cause for Radford, while Johnathan Edwards grabbed 9 rebounds.
Charlotte led at halftime, 33-21.
Charlotte won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-28.
