Vermont was run off the court by BYU on Wednesday as they blasted them 86-58 at Roy Patrick Gym.
BYU got 26 points from Jimmer Fredette and another 14 points from Noah Hartsock. Jimmer Fredette contributed 5 assists, while Noah Hartsock cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
Vermont got 14 points from Brendan Bald in a losing cause and another 12 points from Joey Accaoui. Brian Voelkel contributed 3 assists for them, while Evan Fjeld had 9 rebounds.
BYU hit the break leading 38-25 before taking care of business in the second half.
BYU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-32.
