UNC Asheville got a 16-point performance from Chris Stephenson, who was supported by 11 points from J.P. Primm. Chris Stephenson had 5 assists in a losing cause for UNC Asheville, while John Williams grabbed 8 rebounds.

Liberty hit the break leading 21-16 before taking care of business in the second half.

Liberty won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 34-30.
