Central Michigan Defeats Toledo 65-52 - Recap

Toledo was burned for 30 points by Trey Zeigler on Wednesday as Central Michigan picked up a 65-52 win at Rose Center.

Central Michigan won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the 14-point spread.

Central Michigan got 15 points from Jalin Thomas and another 7 points from Andre Coimbra. Amir Rashid contributed 7 assists, while Jalin Thomas cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.

Toledo got 14 points from Reese Holliday in a losing cause and another 12 points from Anthony Wright. Malcolm Griffin contributed 3 assists for them, while Reese Holliday had 6 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Central Michigan were victorious, as the score was 36-28 at the break.

Central Michigan won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-24.
