UNC Asheville Falls 83-81 Against Liberty - Game Recap

Liberty got 20 points from Jesse Sanders en route to an 83-81 victory over UNC Asheville on Thursday at Vines Center.

David Minaya had 19 points for Liberty and Evan Gordon chipped in with 17 points. Jesse Sanders had 7 assists for them, while John Brown was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.

UNC Asheville got 20 points from Matt Dickey in a losing cause and another 16 points from D.J. Cunningham. Matt Dickey contributed 9 assists for them, while D.J. Cunningham had 9 rebounds.

Liberty hit the break leading 39-32 before taking care of business in the second half.

UNC Asheville won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-28.
