The battle between Bucknell and Navy didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Navy was handed a 75-49 defeat on Saturday at Sojka Pavilion.
Bucknell got 18 points from Bryson Johnson and another 18 points from Joe Willman. Darryl Shazier contributed 8 assists, while Mike Muscala cleaned the glass with 17 rebounds.
Navy got 17 points from Greg Brown in a losing cause and another 9 points from J.J. Avila. J.J. Avila contributed 3 assists for them, while Jordan Sugars had 6 rebounds.
Bucknell hit the break leading 41-22 before taking care of business in the second half.
Bucknell won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 46-26.
