Tulsa Defeats Houston 76-71 - Recap

Tulsa earned a 76-71 victory over Houston on Saturday, getting 22 points from Justin Hurtt at Reynolds Center.

Tulsa did not, however, defeat Houston against the spread, which closed at 9.5 at most sportsbooks.

Scottie Haralson had 22 points for Tulsa and Steven Idlet chipped in with 16 points. Bryson Pope had 5 assists for them, while Steven Idlet was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

Houston got 21 points from Maurice McNeil in a losing cause and another 15 points from Darian Thibodeaux. Darian Thibodeaux contributed 4 assists for them, while Alandise Harris had 10 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed Tulsa were victorious, as the score was 37-29 at the break.

Tulsa won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 53-32.
