Temple earned a 77-66 victory over Fordham on Wednesday, getting 22 points from Ramone Moore at Liacouras Center.
Temple did not, however, defeat Fordham against the spread, which closed at 21.5 at most sportsbooks.
Temple got 12 points from Micheal Eric and another 12 points from Scootie Randall. Lavoy Allen contributed 4 assists, while Lavoy Allen cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
Fordham got 27 points from Chris Gaston in a losing cause and another 12 points from Branden Frazier. Brenton Butler contributed 7 assists for them, while Kervin Bristol had 11 rebounds.
Temple hit the break leading 47-29 before taking care of business in the second half.
The rebound battle favored Temple as they grabbed 49 boards, while Fordham only had 36.
