Drexel got 16 points from Chris Fouch en route to a 54-52 victory over William & Mary on Saturday at John A. Daskalakis Center.

Drexel won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the 11-point spread.

Drexel got 16 points from Dartaye Ruffin and another 8 points from Derrick Thomas. Frantz Massenat contributed 4 assists, while Daryl McCoy cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.

William & Mary got 11 points from Marcus Kitts in a losing cause and another 9 points from Quinn McDowell. Quinn McDowell contributed 3 assists for them, while Kendrix Brown had 7 rebounds.

Drexel hit the break leading 24-23 before taking care of business in the second half.

Drexel had a 33-26 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
