Hofstra Defeats William & Mary 81-78 - Recap

Hofstra got 28 points from Charles Jenkins en route to an 81-78 victory over William & Mary on Tuesday at Hofstra Arena.

Hofstra earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 9-point spread.

Hofstra got 25 points from Mike Moore and another 12 points from David Imes. Brad Kelleher contributed 7 assists, while David Imes cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

William & Mary got 28 points from Quinn McDowell in a losing cause and another 16 points from Julian Boatner. Kendrix Brown contributed 5 assists for them, while Quinn McDowell had 12 rebounds.

Hofstra hit the break trailing 34-26 before taking care of business in the second half.

William & Mary won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-33.
