Delaware Defeats Northeastern 72-66 - Recap

Delaware got 22 points from Jawan Carter as they ran past Northeastern 72-66 on Tuesday at Matthews Arena.

Delaware was a 6-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

Devon Saddler had 16 points for Delaware and Jamelle Hagins chipped in with 12 points. Brian Johnson had 3 assists for them, while Kelvin McNeil was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 15 boards.

Northeastern got 20 points from Chaisson Allen in a losing cause and another 12 points from Kauri Black. Joel Smith contributed 4 assists for them, while Kauri Black had 11 rebounds.

Delaware hit the break leading 30-26 before taking care of business in the second half.

Northeastern had a 36-28 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
