Cal Poly Defeats CS Northridge 72-49 - Recap
CS Northridge was run off the court by Cal Poly on Wednesday as they blasted them 72-49 at Mott Gymnasium.
Cal Poly won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 6-point spread as favorites.
Cal Poly got 20 points from Shawn Lewis and another 10 points from David Hanson. Maliik Love contributed 3 assists, while Shawn Lewis cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
CS Northridge got an 18-point performance from Lenny Daniel, who was supported by 11 points from Joshua Greene. Vinnie McGhee had 3 assists in a losing cause for CS Northridge, while Lenny Daniel grabbed 12 rebounds.
Cal Poly hit the break leading 42-18 before taking care of business in the second half.
Cal Poly won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 49-24.
