Clemson got 14 points from Demontez Stitt as they ran past Wake Forest 63-49 on Saturday at Littlejohn Coliseum.
Clemson did not, however, defeat Wake Forest against the spread, which closed at 20 at most sportsbooks.
Jerai Grant had 14 points for Clemson and Devin Booker chipped in with 10 points. Tanner Smith had 7 assists for them, while Devin Booker was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
Wake Forest got a 11-point performance from Nikita Mescheriakov, who was supported by 9 points from J.T. Terrell. Gary Clark had 4 assists in a losing cause for Wake Forest, while Travis McKie grabbed 12 rebounds.
Clemson led at halftime, 33-20.
Wake Forest won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-37.
