The battle between Nicholls State and Dillard didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Dillard was handed a 94-52 defeat on Thursday at Stopher Gym.
Nicholls State got 30 points from Anatoly Bose and another 19 points from Fred Hunter. Kenny Franklin contributed 8 assists, while Anatoly Bose cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
Dillard got 12 points from Lance Bell in a losing cause and another 11 points from Zachary Harmon. Lawrence Etah contributed 3 assists for them, while Rashad Johns had 6 rebounds.
Nicholls State hit the break leading 51-27 before taking care of business in the second half.
The rebound battle favored Nicholls State as they grabbed 31 boards, while Dillard only had 30.
