The battle between Florida and Stetson didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Stetson was handed a 96-70 defeat on Monday at Stephen O'Connell Center.
Florida got 22 points from Brad Beal and another 21 points from Erving Walker. Erving Walker contributed 6 assists, while Will Yeguete cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
Stetson got 20 points from Chris Perez in a losing cause and another 19 points from Adam Pegg. Aaron Graham contributed 4 assists for them, while Joel Naburgs had 8 rebounds.
Florida led at halftime, 47-31.
The rebound battle favored Florida as they grabbed 43 boards, while Stetson only had 37.
