The battle between Houston and Texas A&M C.C. didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Texas A&M C.C. was handed an 87-66 defeat on Saturday at Hofheinz Pavilion.
Houston got 22 points from Jonathon Simmons and another 16 points from Leon Gibson. Darian Thibodeaux contributed 6 assists, while TaShawn Thomas cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Texas A&M C.C. got 15 points from Hameed Ali in a losing cause and another 12 points from Terence Jones. Johnathan Jordan contributed 5 assists for them, while Johnathan Jordan had 7 rebounds.

Houston won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-28.
