The battle between Missouri State and Kennesaw State didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Kennesaw State was handed a 78-55 defeat on Saturday at JQH Arena.
Missouri State got 22 points from Kyle Weems and another 12 points from Caleb Patterson. Michael Bizoukas contributed 11 assists, while Kyle Weems cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Kennesaw State got 24 points from Markeith Cummings in a losing cause and another 17 points from Spencer Dixon. Delbert Love contributed 4 assists for them, while Markeith Cummings had 7 rebounds.
Missouri State led at halftime, 40-22.
Missouri State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-22.
