Vanderbilt got 19 points from Jeffery Taylor as they ran past Marquette 74-57 on Thursday at Bradley Center.

Vanderbilt won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 8.5-point spread as underdogs.

Vanderbilt got 14 points from John Jenkins and another 13 points from Lance Goulbourne. Brad Tinsley contributed 8 assists, while Lance Goulbourne cleaned the glass with 16 rebounds.

Vanderbilt hit the break leading 44-22 before taking care of business in the second half.

Vanderbilt won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 39-35.
