Charleston Southern got 17 points from Mathiang Muo and another 16 points from Kelvin Martin. Saah Nimley contributed 3 assists, while Kelvin Martin cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.

Liberty got 20 points from Jesse Sanders in a losing cause and another 16 points from David Minaya. Jesse Sanders contributed 8 assists for them, while Jesse Sanders had 10 rebounds.

Charleston Southern hit the break leading 44-38 before taking care of business in the second half.

The rebound battle favored Liberty as they grabbed 37 boards, while Charleston Southern only had 36.
