The battle between North Dakota State and South Dakota didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as South Dakota was handed an 82-59 defeat on Saturday at Bison Sports Arena.
North Dakota State was a 14-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Taylor Braun had 16 points for North Dakota State and Jordan Aaberg chipped in with 15 points. Lawrence Alexander had 5 assists for them, while Jordan Aaberg was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
South Dakota got 15 points from Trevor Gruis in a losing cause and another 13 points from Jordan Boots. Trevor Gruis contributed 3 assists for them, while Ricardo Andreotti had 18 rebounds.
