Manhattan earned a 71-64 victory over Niagara on Sunday, getting 24 points from George Beamon at Draddy Gymnasium.

Manhattan won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the 8.5-point spread.

Manhattan got 13 points from Michael Alvarado and another 10 points from Donovan Kates. Emmy Andujar contributed 5 assists, while Donovan Kates cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.

Niagara got a 19-point performance from Antoine Mason, who was supported by 12 points from Ameen Tanksley. Juan'ya Green had 7 assists in a losing cause for Niagara, while Malcolm Lemmons grabbed 7 rebounds.

Manhattan hit the break leading 31-24 before taking care of business in the second half.

Manhattan won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-31.
