The battle between Stony Brook and Hartford didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Hartford was handed a 60-37 defeat on Wednesday at Stony Brook Sports Complex.
Stony Brook got 23 points from Bryan Dougher and another 8 points from Al Rapier. Tommy Brenton contributed 4 assists, while Dallis Joyner cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Hartford got 10 points from Genesis Maciel in a losing cause and another 7 points from Mark Nwakamma. Andres Torres contributed 3 assists for them, while Mark Nwakamma had 4 rebounds.
Stony Brook hit the break leading 24-18 before taking care of business in the second half.
