Savannah State Defeats North Carolina A&T 66-59 - Recap

Savannah State grabbed a 66-59 win over North Carolina A&T on Monday, behind a 14-point effort from Preston Blackmon at Corbett Center.

Rashad Hassan had 11 points for Savannah State and Deric Rudolph chipped in with 10 points. Preston Blackmon had 6 assists for them, while Cedric Smith was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

North Carolina A&T got 11 points from Marc Hill in a losing cause and another 11 points from Jeremy Underwood. Austin Witter contributed 3 assists for them, while Lawrence Smith had 5 rebounds.

Savannah State led at halftime, 32-26.

The rebound battle favored Savannah State as they grabbed 46 boards, while North Carolina A&T only had 27.
