The battle between New Mexico State and Hawaii didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Hawaii was handed a 115-73 defeat on Thursday at Pan American Center.

New Mexico State was a 10.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

New Mexico State got 28 points from Daniel Mullings and another 20 points from Wendell McKines. Daniel Mullings contributed 10 assists, while Daniel Mullings cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.

Hawaii got a 13-point performance from Joston Thomas, who was supported by 12 points from Trevor Wiseman. Jeremiah Ostrowski had 6 assists in a losing cause for Hawaii, while Davis Rozitis grabbed 7 rebounds.

First-half bettors who backed New Mexico State were victorious, as the score was 52-31 at the break.

New Mexico State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 41-31.
