The battle between Morehead State and Mid-Continent didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Mid-Continent was handed an 83-57 defeat on Sunday at Ellis Johnson Arena.
Morehead State got 20 points from Marsell Holden and another 14 points from Angelo Warner. Terrance Hill contributed 5 assists, while Angelo Warner cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Mid-Continent got 15 points from Maurice Bynum in a losing cause and another 9 points from Charles Peden. Charles Peden contributed 3 assists for them, while Steve McBorrough had 6 rebounds.
Morehead State hit the break leading 39-29 before taking care of business in the second half.
