Rutgers got 17 points from Malick Kone and another 15 points from Myles Mack. Dane Miller contributed 4 assists, while Kadeem Jack cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.

Boston University got 24 points from D.J. Irving in a losing cause and another 16 points from Maurice Watson Jr.. Maurice Watson Jr. contributed 7 assists for them, while Malik Thomas had 9 rebounds.

Rutgers hit the break leading 42-34 before taking care of business in the second half.

Rutgers won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 39-30.
