The battle between East Tennessee State and Milligan didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Milligan was handed a 94-46 defeat on Thursday at ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center.
East Tennessee State got 27 points from Lester Wilson and another 16 points from Rashawn Rembert. Hunter Harris contributed 4 assists, while John Walton cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Milligan got 10 points from Tyler DeVault in a losing cause and another 6 points from Rob Larsen. Cartree Pettis contributed 4 assists for them, while Ignas Palaima had 5 rebounds.
East Tennessee State hit the break leading 48-20 before taking care of business in the second half.
East Tennessee State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-21.
