The battle between Weber State and U of the Southwest didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as U of the Southwest was handed a 110-45 defeat on Saturday at Dee Events Center.
Weber State got 18 points from Scott Bamforth and another 17 points from Royce Williams. Jordan Richardson contributed 4 assists, while Royce Williams cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
U of the Southwest got 12 points from Clarence Rivas in a losing cause and another 8 points from Brandon McKnight. Tyrone Dobbins contributed 3 assists for them, while Josh Quintero had 3 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Weber State were victorious, as the score was 58-20 at the break.
Weber State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-19.
