Western Carolina got a 23-point performance from Trey Sumler, who was supported by 12 points from Tawaski King. Trey Sumler had 4 assists in a losing cause for Western Carolina, while James Sinclair grabbed 8 rebounds.

Liberty led at halftime, 29-22.

The rebound battle favored Liberty as they grabbed 39 boards, while Western Carolina only had 28.
