Bradley grabbed a 69-66 win over Southern Illinois on Tuesday, behind an 18-point effort from Dyricus Simms-Edwards at Carver Arena.
Bradley did not, however, defeat Southern Illinois against the spread, which closed at 6 at most sportsbooks.
Bradley got 16 points from Walt Lemon Jr. and another 15 points from Tyshon Pickett. Walt Lemon Jr. contributed 8 assists, while Will Egolf cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Southern Illinois got 21 points from Desmar Jackson in a losing cause and another 17 points from Jeff Early. Kendal Brown-Surles contributed 3 assists for them, while Jeff Early had 11 rebounds.
Bradley trailed at halftime, 35-34.
Bradley won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 29-26.
