Recap - New Mexico Defeats Fresno State 54-48

New Mexico earned a 54-48 victory over Fresno State on Wednesday, getting 13 points from Kendall Williams at Save Mart Center.

New Mexico did not, however, defeat Fresno State against the spread, which closed at 8 at most sportsbooks.

New Mexico got 10 points from Tony Snell and another 10 points from Alex Kirk. Kendall Williams contributed 5 assists, while Cameron Bairstow cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

Fresno State got 11 points from Kevin Olekaibe in a losing cause and another 10 points from Kevin Foster. Tyler Johnson contributed 5 assists for them, while Kevin Foster had 10 rebounds.

New Mexico hit the break trailing 31-20 before taking care of business in the second half.

The rebound battle favored New Mexico as they grabbed 39 boards, while Fresno State only had 36.
