Savannah State earned a 56-49 victory over North Carolina A&T on Monday, getting 18 points from Arnold Louis at Tiger Arena.

Rashad Hassan had 8 points for Savannah State and Deven Williams chipped in with 7 points. Arnold Louis had 2 assists for them, while Arnold Louis was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 12 boards.

North Carolina A&T got 9 points from Lamont Middleton in a losing cause and another 8 points from Austin Witter. Adrian Powell contributed 3 assists for them, while Jean Louisme had 8 rebounds.

Savannah State led at halftime, 33-21.

North Carolina A&T won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 34-33.
