Coppin State Defeats Howard 63-56 - Recap

Coppin State grabbed a 63-56 win over Howard on Saturday, behind a 16-point effort from Michael Murray at Burr Gymnasium.

Coppin State got 14 points from Andre Armstrong and another 14 points from Patrick Cole. Patrick Cole contributed 2 assists, while Michael Murray cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.

Howard got 12 points from Mike Phillips in a losing cause and another 11 points from Tre Lee. Simuel Frazier contributed 5 assists for them, while Mike Phillips had 11 rebounds.

Coppin State hit the break leading 31-27 before taking care of business in the second half.

Howard won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 49-38.
