Wyoming was run off the court by UNLV on Saturday as they blasted them 65-42 at Arena-Auditorium.
UNLV won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 3-point spread as favorites.
UNLV got 12 points from Khem Birch and another 11 points from Bryce Dejean-Jones. Anthony Marshall contributed 6 assists, while Khem Birch cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
Wyoming got 15 points from Derek Cooke Jr. in a losing cause and another 7 points from Derrious Gilmore. Riley Grabau contributed 4 assists for them, while Derek Cooke Jr. had 9 rebounds.
UNLV hit the break leading 32-12 before taking care of business in the second half.
UNLV had a 47-25 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
