Minnesota got 17 points from Seimone Augustus and another 14 points from Maya Moore. Lindsay Whalen contributed 10 assists, while Rebekkah Brunson cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
Seattle got 24 points from Sue Bird in a losing cause and another 18 points from Swin Cash. Swin Cash contributed 5 assists for the Storm, while Swin Cash had 7 rebounds.
Minnesota led at halftime, 50-24.
Minnesota won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 34-26.
Minnesota heads into a battle against the Dream. Seattle, meanwhile, will have their next action against Indiana.
