Detroit dominates lowly Chicago
The Detroit Shock stung the lowly Chicago Sky 89-70 Saturday night to improve to 16-7 overall to sit in second place in the Eastern standings.
Detroit came into the game as a huge 14-point favorite at home and easily made good on covering the spread. The final score made it OVER the posted total (146).
Katie Smith and Deanna Nolan each collected a team-high 16 points coming off the bench with both players under 10 minutes of floor time in the win.
Candice Dupree collected 12 points, seven rebounds and three assists, while shooting 5-for-18 overall in the loss.
