The Sacramento Monarchs scored only nine points in the fourth quarter, and Deanna Nolan had 21 points to lead the Detroit Shock to a 73-63 win in Detroit to tie the WNBA championship series at one.
Detroit covered the 4-point spread at home, but the 136 points scored was UNDER the posted total of 141.5.
Katie Smith added 16 points for the Shock, and Swin Cash and Sheryl Ford each had eight rebounds for the winners.
Yolanda Griffith had 14 points and eight rebounds to pace the Monarchs, and Kara Lawson added 11 in a losing cause for Sacramento.
