Mercury scorch the Shock
Diana Taurasi scored a game-high 30 points on Saturday, leading the Phoenix Mercury to a 98-70 rout of the Detroit Shock at the Palace of Auburn Hills to even up the WNBA Championship series at one game apiece.
The Mercury were 3-point road underdogs, and the 168 points scored were UNDER the posted total of 184.5.
Tangela Smith added 18 points and ten rebounds, while Cappie Poindexter also put up 18 points for the Mercury.
Deanna Nolan led the way with 12 points, and Swin Cash had ten points for the Shock.
