Shock upend Storm
The Detroit Shock got off to a slow start but dug in and overcame a deficit to defeat the Seattle Storm 77-67 Wednesday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Detroit covered the 5.5-point spread, while the 144 points fell just UNDER the posted total of 144.5.
Katie Smith carried the Shock as she scored a game-high 33 points in the win. Deanna Nolan chipped in with 14 points.
Lauren Jackson tossed in 27 points in a losing effort for the Storm.
