Shock win WNBA title
The Detroit Shock locked up their third WNBA title in six years on Sunday, as Katie Smith netted a team-high 18 points to lead Detroit to a 76-60 win over the San Antonio Silver Stars and a 3-0 sweep in the finals.
The Shock had been favored by 4-points in the game and easily covered the spread. The combined score fell UNDER the posted over/under total (143.5).
Taj McWiliams-Franklin added 13 points for Detroit, while D Nolan chipped in with 12 points in the win.
Ann Wauters scored a game-high 19 points for San Antonio and Sophia Young had 15 points.
