The Lynx were an 8-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 149.5.
Minnesota got 14 points from Maya Moore and another 13 points from Rebekkah Brunson. Lindsay Whalen contributed 7 assists, while Taj McWilliams-Franklin cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Washington got 15 points from Matee Ajavon in a losing cause and another 12 points from Marissa Coleman. Kelly Miller contributed 4 assists for the Mystics, while Marissa Coleman had 5 rebounds.
The Lynx hit the break leading 39-29 before taking care of business in the second half.
Minnesota won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 30-27.
Minnesota heads into a battle against the Sparks. Washington, meanwhile, will have their next action against Chicago.
