Sun rise in overtime to tie series
Taj McWilliams-Franklin scored a game-high 24 points and grabbed 16 rebounds on Thursday to lead the Connecticut Sun to a 77-70 win over the Sacramento Monarchs and tie the WNBA finals at one game all.
The Sun won this game as 3-point favorites at home. The combined score went OVER the posted total (133.5).
Nykesha Sales scored 19 points in the win and Katie Douglass added 16 points for the Sun.
Nicole Powell and Yolanda Griffith led the Monarchs with 16 points each.
Game three is set to go on Sunday in Sacramento.
