Seattle was run off the court by the Lynx on Wednesday as Minnesota blasted the Storm 79-55 at Target Center.
Minnesota won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 10-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 145.5.
Minnesota got 17 points from Taj McWilliams-Franklin and another 14 points from Devereaux Peters. Lindsay Whalen contributed 5 assists, while Candice Wiggins cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
Seattle got 14 points from Tanisha Wright in a losing cause and another 8 points from Tina Thompson. Tanisha Wright contributed 3 assists for the Storm, while Ann Wauters had 5 rebounds.
Minnesota led at halftime, 43-30.
The rebound battle favored Minnesota as they grabbed 33 boards, while Seattle only had 25.
Minnesota looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Shock. The Storm will aim to get back on the winning track at San Antonio.
