Minnesota got 14 points from Seimone Augustus and another 14 points from Monica Wright. Lindsay Whalen contributed 8 assists, while Taj McWilliams-Franklin cleaned the glass with 12 rebounds.
Tulsa got 30 points from Glory Johnson in a losing cause and another 11 points from Riquna Williams. Ivory Latta contributed 4 assists for the Shock, while Glory Johnson had 14 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Minnesota were victorious, as the score was 55-38 at the break.
The rebound battle favored Minnesota as they grabbed 44 boards, while Tulsa only had 36.
Next game, Minnesota takes its act home to face Washington looking for another win. For Tulsa, they head home to face San Antonio.
